Description (Service)

Provides confidential care and treatment by specialized nurses sensitive to the need of domestic assault victims who have recently experienced a domestic assault.

Care and treatment options are offered for each victim including:

medical care and treatment of injuries
photographs and documentation of injuries for use as court evidence
safety planning
risk assessment
referral to community services and resources for domestic violence
followup telephone calls and visits are also offered

Hours	Office: Mon-Fri 8 am-4:30 pm Emergency Service: Mon-Sun 24 hours

Eligibility	Must have Health Card 16 years and up
