Home building organization provides opportunities for families and individuals to move into homeownership affordably.

  • Volunteers and community partners work together to build safe, decent, and affordable homes in partnership with working persons in need of affordable housing.
  • Home builds are single-family detached houses to multi-unit developments.
  • Homes are sold at fair market value with a no down payment mortgage.
  • Mortgage payments are geared to income and are recycled to build other Habitat homes.
  • Future homeowner partners contribute a minimum of 500 volunteer hours.
  • Funds generated at Habitat ReStores are used to fund local homebuilding projects in the community.


The Habitat ReStore- Home improvement and building supply stores that accept and resell new and gently-used building materials, furniture, appliances, home decor items, clothing and accessories.

ReStore volunteers: 14 years of age or older
