Regular Volunteer Opportunity
Canine Foster Volunteers provide a safe, loving and temporary home for puppies and senior dogs. You must have the ability to separate the foster animals from any pets in your home, if necessary. GTHS will provide training, support and all the supplies you need.

Canine Foster Volunteers are responsible for helping the puppies, adult or senior dog in their care thrive until they are ready to be adopted. This will include feeding the animals at least twice a day (possibly more), potty training (for puppies), enrichment, exercising and socializing the animals and, in some cases, tracking / documenting habits / behaviours, etc. as laid out by GTHS staff. Fostering may also required bottle feeding and administering oral or topical medications
