• All members appointed to committees/boards must reside, own or rent property within Collingwood, be a Canadian citizen, and over the age of eighteen. 
 
• The Committee member positions are on a volunteer basis. 
 
• Meeting dates and times are flexible and subject to the availability of the majority of committee members. Advance notice of meetings is provided. The Town of Collingwood now permits electronic participation in committee meetings making it easier/more accessible for committee members to be included in discussion if they cannot make it to a scheduled meeting however electronic participation does not count towards quorum.

Volunteers will be required to chaperone individuals to and from their destinations as scheduled by the Event Staff. These volunteers must provide a valid drivers licence.
BALLOT/SURVEY AMBASSADORS   Clearview  Collingwood  Wasaga Beach

VARIES BY EVENT
Volunteers will be required to hand out ballets on the main street and to further obtain the ballots when completed. Proper footwear is required.

Office Administration   Clearview  Collingwood  Wasaga Beach

This position requires volunteers to answer phones, questions relating to any events, copying and general office duties. These volunteers must have minimal knowledge with computers and phone systems. 
There will be training for the different events and this will be mandatory.
Greeters   Clearview  Collingwood  Wasaga Beach

The primary duty of a greeter is to greet the people who arrive. They would direct patrons to the Ushers that will show them to their seats. Greeters primary duty is to help guests feel welcome, though they may have other duties that are required during their slotted volunteer term. 
It is a requirement that ushers wear proper attire.
Tribute Artist Registration   Clearview  Collingwood  Wasaga Beach

The duties of the TA Registration is to assist any of the Tribute Artists with registration, signatures, review of individualized arrival package materials and assisting the Tribute Artistes in the locations of registration.

Ushers   Clearview  Collingwood  Wasaga Beach 
Collingwood. Municipal Office, Collingwood - Hurontario St
Ushers are volunteers who provide the primary level of guests assistance in seating areas. These volunteers help guests locate their assigned seats & troubleshoot any ticketing problems to the best of their abilities. This position requires individuals to work directly with patrons and require the volunteers to be customer oriented. 
This position may require individuals to stand for periods of time. It is a requirement that ushers wear proper foot attire.
VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION ASSISTANTS   Clearview  Collingwood  Wasaga Beach

ASSIST IN THE SIGNING IN OF ALL VOLUNTEERS, PROVIDE THEM WITH NECESSARY CREDENTIALS AND DIRECTIONS

Set-Up & Take-Down   Clearview  Collingwood  Wasaga Beach 
Collingwood. Municipal Office, Collingwood - Hurontario St
This volunteer position requires volunteers to set up (prior to events) and tear down (end of events) tables and chairs, label chairs or bleachers and arrange event material. Please note that volunteers for this position may be required to be on site early in the morning prior to the event and later in the evening following the events for tear down. There could be some heavy lifting. 
It is required that you wear proper clothing and proper foot attire.
Event Delivery Assistant   Clearview  Collingwood  Wasaga Beach 
Collingwood. Municipal Office, Collingwood - Hurontario St
Runners will assist in running items that are required to areas within the event boundaries such as (but limited to) water, tables, chairs, food or items that are required to assist in the operations of the event. 
This position may require individuals to stand or sit for long periods of time and may require volunteers to lift cases of water. 
It is recommended that Runners ensure they wear proper foot attire and sunscreen.
Scanning   Clearview  Collingwood  Wasaga Beach

THESE VOLUNTEERS ARE REQUIRED FOR SCANNING OF THE EVENT TICKETS AT VARIOUS EVENTS IN COLLINGWOOD.  
THESE SELECTED VOLUNTEERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE A MINIMAL TRAINING SESSION 20 MINUTES PRIOR TO SHIFTS.
