Growling Beaver Brevet Volunteers
As a Growling Beaver event day volunteer, you will help raise awareness about Parkinson's in your community while having fun doing it! Event day volunteers provide support in a variety of ways. By helping with pre-event set up and registration on Friday, cheering on riders as they complete the route, supporting participant registration, helping with set up, and everything in between, volunteers are an important component of a successful event.

8:40AM-12:25PM - Kimberley General Store/Justin's Oven Checkpoint
12:00-2:00PM - Bayview Park Pavilion Checkpoint
10:15AM-12:05PM - Rock Union Checkpoint
10:00AM-1:55PM - Kolapore Checkpoint
12:00-4:00PM - Merchandise sales
12:00-4:00PM - Beaver mascot
12:00-4:00PM - Information booth
10:00AM-4:15PM - Rob Roy - Osprey Museum Checkpoint
12:00-5:30PM - Finish line welcome crew
After you sign up, a Parkinson Canada Event Coordinator will be in touch with you to discuss the schedule and assign you to your shift. Together, let's make a difference in the lives of people living with Parkinson's!
Age Requirement
Volunteers must be at least 12 years old to volunteer without a parent or guardian for this event. If an adult would like to register a youth aged 11 or younger to volunteer with them, please connect with Volunteer Engagement at volunteer@parkinson.ca for assistance.
