Description (Service)

Offers information and guidance to Seniors on:

Assistive Devices such as wheelchairs, scooters, walkers, commodes, hospital beds, lift chairs, grab bars, etc.
Assistance in identifying available funding resources
Vehicle Modifications such as lifts and controls to allow a person with a disability to enter and/or drive
Accessible Home Renovations including items such as ramps, stair lifts, widening doorways, accessible bathroom facilities

Independent Living Services Simcoe County is a member of the Simcoe Muskoka Integrated Fall Strategy (SMIFS)

Hours	Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm

Eligibility	Low income seniors 65 yrs and older, or those living with permanent physical disabilities 18 yrs and older
