On-Demand Transit in Collingwood The Town Of Collingwood introduced its new On-Demand Transit (ODT) service in 2023 with a phased approach. The current phase of the ODT service operates on the weekend replacing the Crosstown bus with stops at any existing bus stops in Collingwood (the East and West Routes run on their regular schedule). Riders can reserve trips by downloading the Blaise Transit mobile app or calling 705-446-1196. A direct link to book is also be available on the Public Transit page of the Town website. Customers can book a trip up to seven days in advance, or a minimum of 30 minutes before their departure time if booking for a same-day ride. Once booked, the bus will pick up and drop off at the existing stop locations throughout town. The ODT will operate 7 am-9 pm during the weekends. Regular transit fares apply, but downloading the app and booking are free. ODT will only apply to the routes and transit stops within the town of Collingwood. The Blue Mountain Link (B-Link) route is not part of the pilot. Future phases of on-demand transit have not been determined at this time. For further information, consult the Public Transit page. Collingwood/Blue Mountains Transit Link: Runs hourly. Schedule available on the website. Stops at Collingwood, Georgian Meadows, Blue Mountain Resort, Craigleith.
