Description

Description (Service) 12 week group education program on intimate partner violence and non-abusive ways of resolving conflict
  • survivors/partners of the offender are provided with support including safety planning, referrals to community resources and information on offender's progress
  • aims to help offenders and women who have been charged or who identify as violent to understand and change the underlying beliefs and attitudes that lead to violence in relationships.
  • program themes are drawn from the "Power and Control" and "Equality Wheels" as created by the Duluth Model at DAIP

Public Comments Program is also offered in Hanover but intake, inquiries and program details are provided through the Owen Sound office.
Hours Program hours vary - Tue mornings.

Areas Served Bruce County ; Grey County
Eligibility Ages: 18 year(s) and up 
 
Offenders 18 years and older, ordered by the court or probation to attend the program in response to a criminal charge involving intimate partner violence. 
 
Service is available for self-referred individuals as well.
Application Call to schedule an intake/assessment phone call.
Languages Translation available as required.
Fees Client fee based on sliding scale - $5-80 per session
