G.A.P. has committed to supporting the community and tackling the issue of transportation head-on by offering to those in need the No Cost Taxi Program in partnership with Bala Taxi.

Service will provide no-cost taxi rides for essential in-town trips needed for medical appointments, groceries, work, food bank and laundry.

After registering for the program, a Transportation Card will be issued containing 10 x $5.00 spots.

To reload the card, call 705-641-2225 and speak with a G.A.P. volunteer.

The Transportation Card has no commercial value, and can only be used to book cab rides paid for by Gravenhurst Against Poverty.

Eligibility	Residents within the Town of Gravenhurst
Application	Register for a Transportation Card by calling 705-641-2225 Call Tuesday or Wednesday to book a GAP Taxi Card. Taxi cards are only distributed on Thursdays, 1 card per household, 1 card per month. Once registered, a $50 transportation card will be issued that can be used for essential trips around Gravenhurst. When card is received, book directly with Bala Taxi by calling 705-205-0868.
