United Way Simcoe Muskoka needs your help. Become an ambassador for change by registering for UWSM's 100in100 program. As a participant, you will help United Way Simcoe Muskoka by speaking with (or sending emails) to your friends and family, co-workers, teammates, clubs, associations, clients, suppliers, and other contacts and invite them to show their community that they care by making a donation! Our handy participant toolkit allows you to reach out to people in your family and social networks giving them a chance to create lasting, positive change in our community. Donations will be tracked on your personal collection form and will be eligible for an official tax receipt. All donations will support the United Way Simcoe Muskoka Community Fund helping our region to address tough issues like poverty, accessibility, inclusivity, and inadequate supports for our children and youth.

Build a relationship between the Canadian Red Cross and your local Walmart. 
 
Walmart Ambassadors will: 
• Lead the implementation of the Red Cross campaign within their designated store (materials and training are provided) 
• Visit their assigned Walmart store at set times during the year (max 2-3 times) to deliver Canadian Red Cross information 
• Be able to report to Regional Staff Leads, successes and challenges within their store during the campaign 
• Meet with the most responsible person for that store’s campaign in advance of the campaign 
• Speak about the Canadian Red Cross with knowledge and comfort at meetings and in-store events (training provided) 
• Work with the Red Cross Regional Staff Lead to support in-store events such as bagging days 
• Complete a brief campaign report (or survey) at the conclusion of their store’s campaign

Telecare of Greater Simcoe is looking for caring and compassionate people to answer our 24 hour distress lines.  
The service is anonymous and confidential and referrals are provided as necessary.  
Training is provided.  
All that is required is a non judgmental attitude, an empathetic nature and a desire to help.

To accept donations from the public at an assigned location for the duration of the mutually agreed shift. 
Report to an appointed location to receive Tag tray, coin box, supplies, permission letter. Tag at the selected location for the duration of the mutually agreed shift. Return the Tag tray, coin box, supplies, permission letter to the appointed location. Volunteers must wear the Identity Badge supplied by the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County while tagging. The Badge must be returned with the coin box at the end of the shift.
