Collingwood Heritage Committee 
Museum Advisory Committee 
Trails Advisory Committee 
 
• All members appointed to committees/boards must reside, own or rent property within Collingwood, be a Canadian citizen, and over the age of eighteen. 
 
• The Committee member positions are on a volunteer basis. 
 
• Meeting dates and times are flexible and subject to the availability of the majority of committee members. Advance notice of meetings is provided. The Town of Collingwood now permits electronic participation in committee meetings making it easier/more accessible for committee members to be included in discussion if they cannot make it to a scheduled meeting however electronic participation does not count towards quorum. 
 
The application form is available for download below or in hard copy at Town Hall, 97 Hurontario Street. 
 
Applications must be submitted no later than: Wednesday, March 7, 2018, 12:00 p.m. to the undersigned.

Roles/duties include:  
1. Administering surveys to individuals on the street, in shelters, and at service locations 
2. Administrative support and general assistance at volunteer headquarters 
3. Entering survey data into a database in preparation for analysis and reporting

CIBC Run for the Cure, Canadian Cancer Society
As the Volunteer Run Director – Logistics your time will be spent managing and empowering your committee to rally support and participants, as well as driving the logistical elements of the CIBC Run for the Cure. 
While collaborating with your Co-Volunteer Run Director and the CCS staff, you will lead a team of volunteers who will develop and execute a site plan, organize a 1km and 5km route, and recruit a team of volunteers to support all local Run activities. 
You will collaborate with your Co-Volunteer Run Director to lead meetings, motivate your committee, and act as a local ambassador for the organization. You will assist the CCS staff in vacant committee positions and work with your fellow committee members to fill any voids. You will keep the Run site’s fundraising goal top of mind by working with committee members to ensure tasks are completed in a timely and professional manner 
To ensure your success as Run Director – Logistics you will have the constant support of the CCS staff who will answer your questions, provide guidance and assistance when necessary, and connect you with other Run Leaders.
